The river Vltava is the longest one in the Czech Republic and very popular among canoers and other water sports fans. The part of the river between Vyšší Brod and Boršov nad Vltavou is said to be not only the most frequented one in the Czech Republic in terms of rafting and canoeing.

The Lipno Dam, sometimes called South Bohemian sea, is the largest water area in the Czech Republic. In the summer, you can enjoy fishing, water sports, yachting or just relaxing on the beach, in the winter there is an ice skating ring ready for you, you can go skiing or just relax in the Aquapark in Lipno nad Vltavou.
